THE LAWN

The Polar Jet Blast has arrived. The mornings are brisk yet the sun gives us some glorious days.

This week I'd like to highlight the spirit of PLTC which lies in the camaraderie and passion shared among our members. It's the joy of coming together, not just to play tennis, but to forge friendships, support each other, and celebrate our shared passion for the sport. Our club thrives and works well on this dedication, enthusiasm, and positive energy of each member, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and we hope, keeps fit too.

To showcase some spirit, we noticed these amazing members below, who have a combined 162 years of tennis between them all at PLTC. Both couples met at the club and are still married. How could that not be something to mention here.

The Duggans and The Harveys are such good representatives of our club's commitment and longevity. Libby joined in 1971, Ross 1978, and Wendy and Keith 1990. How fabulous is that? They have an annual match between themselves which was held last week. We are not sure who won, but hey, it's the spirit that counts.  Thank you Libby, Wendy, Ross and Keith for your continued support.
