Wednesday Night Club Night

Every Wednesday night is reserved for social tennis play with fellow club members. A committee member is rostered to organise sets to guarantee a good standard of tennis. 

Club Night is open to members and visitors alike, with the club providing the balls and organising doubles pairings. For Playing Members, social tennis is included in their annual subscription. Visitors are encouraged to come and try the groups, and if interested, are encouraged to seek membership.

Members register their name on the night, with games starting at 6:00pm. Doiubles matches are followed by pizza in the clubrooms. The bar is always open. Club night is held throughout the year. 

If you are interested in joining us, this is the perfect opportunity to meet new people and get a feel for the club.

A new initiative began in August 2022, where head coach Adam Staub has started organising a drills-based tennis fit session for the first hour of club night. Players are split into groups based on ability and participate in a variety of fast-paced drills. Improve your tennis while getting a great workout! This session is then followed by normal doubles matches.

In addition to Club Night, PLTC also holds a variety of other tennis events such as singles challenges, mini tournaments and business house matches throughout the year. We also provide barbeques and other social events.
